Since stardoll is really boring at the moment I’ve decided that I may start my own magazine.

Of course I’m going to need graphics designers and writers and stuff but I’ll deal with that later on xP

But for now, could you tell me what you think of this graphic I’ve made? It’s my first one using different clothes, non stardoll hairs and I made the skin.

What needs to be improved? And what do you think looks good?

I’m not sure about the hair, so any ideas will be great!

Save your Stardollars!

Ever feel like your lacking money? You don't want to spend any real money on topping up or becoming a superstar? You are trying to save up for this special something but you keep spending the money? Follow these

1. Always Play and Earn, now with new methods where you vote photos, medolls, albums, catwalk and designs. Play and Earn just got a whole lot easier. When you want to buy something always spend your 5sd first.

2. Don’t buy all the clothes in the star plaza. Some people buy everything in case they turn rare but with the Archive store there is a high chance you will be able to buy it again if you really want it.

3. If you don't like something then don't buy it. Certain members collect brands whereas others buy everything in sight because it is in fashion or on sale. You'll soon realise that you're saving lots of stardollars by limiting yourself to certain stardollar amounts.

4. Don’t feel the need to buy something every day. We know that some of you are shop-a-holics but try to stay calm and tell your self “you do not need this item” when ever you are tempted to spend.


5. Most things will stay in shops for a long time so there is no need to buy them the second they come out.

6. Don’t go crazy with new L.E and/or Antidote. These brands may be rare and will sell for higher prices later on but it isn’t necessary to buy the entire store. Just buy the things you really like and would actually wear.

7. If you ever want to make a quick broadcast remember you can make one free every day using play and earn money.

8. Re-use. Most clothes will stay in fashion for a long time and remember: old clothes will be more original! Making them even better!

9. STARBAZAAR. The starbazaar will always contain many clothes and at many different price ranges. You can try searching tops for 2sd then skirts for 2sd and try to make a budget outfit. OR set yourself a limit on what you can spend for your entire outfit.

10. The starbazaar again. If you change your mind about something you’ve bought on stardoll unfortunately you cannot get a refund. Once the item is sellable in the starbazaar put it at a reasonable price. Wait until you’ve saved a good amount then spend it on an entire outfit instead of odd pieces here and there.

Migliukee for Stardoll......

I suppose you all remember the Migliukee for Stardoll issue. If not it was around December and the store appeared only in the StarPlaza for half a day, making the clothes very rare because of the limited time spent in the StarPlaza. Only recently did we find out that the reason they were taken from the StarPlaza was because Migliukee who supposedly designed them, stole the designs from another Stardoll member. Stardoll Admin then took drastic action and removed the store, Migliukee's stardollars and superstar membership which was then gave to her as a gift.

Migliukee has said she is extremely sorry as she took credit for someone elses hard work and sending them off to Stardoll.

Tribute to McQueen Catwalk show

                                                             

Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2010Alexander McQueen's final collection has been shown at Paris Fashion Week.

The designs he was working on before he comitted suicide a month ago were said to be 80% complete at the time of his death.

The collection of 16 designs were shown in a series of private presentations on the same day the designer's show was due to take place.

Models wearing the designs, which were as dramatic as McQueen's previous collections with rich reds, golds and hand-painted feather detailing, walked slowly to sombre music throughout.

McQueen, whose Christian name was actually Lee, was found dead in February after hanging himself at his London home, on the day before his mother's funeral.

Speaking after seeing the collection, British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman said the presentation was "a wonderful effort on behalf of the McQueen team to put together a perfect tribute to the designer".

The H&M collaboration

The Swedish brand H&M is one of the biggest high street stores across the globe to do the most collaborations ever! They have joined forces with the biggest names in Fashion and Music over the past few years with international superstars such as Madonna and Kylie Minogue. The amazing designers Stella McCartney, Robert Cavalli, Victor and Rolf, Jimmy Choo and Sonia Rykiel!
You have probably heard of these brands somewhere, such as a copy of Vogue, the TV, stores anywhere basically.

Stardoll have caught on and released Sonia Rykiel's latest collection for H&M, which includes studded berets, bold stripey jumper dresses, and block coloured jumpsuits!

Red Carpet Dresses!

Stardoll released two Gowns that Miley Cyrus and Gabourey Sidibe chose to wear at the Oscars...I'm not a fan of what they wore and expect more beautiful gowns to come hopefully the next days!!!......Miley Cyrus wore Jenny Pachman and Gabourey Sidibe wore Marchesa...

Miley chose her usual, glamorous, giryl style. Whereas for Gabourey, I have no idea.......

I personally am not very excited about these two gowns...stardoll didn't make a very good job....plus there were much better at the Red Carpet....but maybe they need more time to give us more beautiful gowns very soon....

I also noticed that, there is only one bracelet, compared to the usual 5 accessories. Stardoll really need to up their game...........

The McQueen Contest Winners!

I'm sure you all have heard by now what happened with the winners of McQueen Contest. Rumors says that Stardoll has chose the winners randomly and din't just chose the best outfits of the contest...well again...can't say we are surprised...it never crossed our mind that they are actually going to look at all the dress ups and decide for the winners. They propably used some kind of program that chooses random people. Of course nothing in programming is truly random for whoever knows some stuff about that and they ended up choosing winners with common initials.


It seems that one of the girl actually have won many competitions lately because of that "random" choosing!!

Of course the girls who won are NOT to blame...I saw someone blaming one girl in her guestbook. That's not right!! They didn't chose to win!! Stardoll chose them!! They have nothing to do with this so it is a little unfair complaining to them!!



And the worst part is that they didn't even got the dress....not only Stardoll didn't got the time to chose the winners themselves...but they didn't even got the time to give them what they won...Only one girl has got her dress by now!!! Her username is *O*L*K*A* if you want to take a look at the dress



So yes Stardoll became unfair one more time...with everyone at first for not choosing fairly and for the winners then that didn't receive their McQueen Dress!!!...
Congrats Stardoll!!! On being the laziest website yet......
